In her own words:

“Working between the poles of rapid technical and technological developments, global connectedness, customer demands, market trends, company objectives and legal regulations is a challenge and, at the same time, an exciting driver. Being able to adapt to an ever changing environment, to find creative solutions for day-to-day business while focusing on mid- and long-term goals, to activate the right resources and foster innovations while staying compliant, is essential in today´s business world, independent of industry or size of a company.

In this landscape, also the role of IT lawyers has changed significantly. It is key that we do not only stay on top of legal frameworks, but also understand technology developments, security requirements and infrastructural possibilities. Our profession has long since ceased to be a purely legal one, and it is key to find creative and pragmatic business solutions and to implement customized measures within the current and foreseeable legal parameters. The right IT and privacy set-up requires a strong commitment from the top, as well as dedicated in-house or outsourced skills and resources. It is not only a considerable cost factor, but can easily make the difference in a competitive market.

I am very excited to join the LEANmade team and work with colleagues, who share my experience from numerous projects in national and international environments. It is great to have the opportunity to offer comprehensive legal, commercial and technical advice and contribute to our customers’ success by finding their individual solution to stay secure and compliant”

Brigitte has a very broad background. She studied at the Musikhochschule in Hannover before she went to the University of Freiburg in Breisgau to become an Attorney at Law. While at LEANmade, she will also work as a lecturer at the Fachhochschule in Zürich in various Compliance and Data-Privacy MAS and CAS courses, continuing her previous teaching activities at the Fachhochschule für Ökonomie und Management in Munich.

Having Brigitte on board, with her international background and extensive know-how and experience, is another fantastic addition to the LEANmade team. Brigitte, a warm welcome!
